On a quiet, rugged island off the coast of Maine, a small group of men will gather to train, breathe, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most.
Our Maine Men’s Retreat is an immersive experience of presence, strength, and brotherhood. Set on Vinalhaven Island, surrounded by forest, ocean, cold water, and open sky, this retreat will blend a guided journey of self-discovery through physical training, meditation, hiking, swimming, and deep inner work.
Each day will begin with meditation, mobility, and kettlebell training to strengthen the body and sharpen the mind, followed by nourishing meals and guided group sessions designed to help you process what’s real in your life, clear what’s been weighing on you, and reconnect to your deeper purpose.
You’ll step out of your everyday environment and into a rhythm that supports your growth.
Morning training. Meaningful conversation. Structured group processes. Time in nature. Hikes. Cold plunges. Sauna. Fireside connection. Space to rest.

Space to speak honestly. Space to listen.
This retreat is about freeing what’s in the way of your full expression. It’s about awakening your fire in a grounded, heart-centered way.
It’s about bonding with other men who are committed to living with strength, integrity, and depth.
You’ll leave physically energized, mentally clear, and emotionally lighter.
More connected to yourself.
More connected to other men.
Re-aligned with your vision.
Re-committed to the man you know you’re meant to be.
Join us for the Maine Men’s Retreat.
Step away. Do the work. Return stronger.

Meet your Facilitators

Andrew Marshall is the founder of Embody the Practice, owner and Head Professor of Endurance Jiu Jitsu, a Certified Master RCI Practitioner and Trainer with the Coherence Institute, a StrongFirst SFG Kettlebell Instructor, and a Third Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt.
For more than 20 years, Andrew has helped people cultivate greater resilience, clarity, and authentic confidence through the integration of physical training, meditation, transformational coaching, and deep inner work. His approach is rooted in the understanding that lasting change comes not only from insight, but from embodiment, bringing what we learn into the way we live every day.
His work is especially focused on helping men heal emotional burdens, move beyond limiting patterns, reconnect with their purpose, and develop the strength, presence, and integrity to lead themselves, their families, and their communities well.
Drawing from decades of coaching, martial arts, leadership development, and personal practice, Andrew creates an environment that is both challenging and deeply supportive. His retreats are designed to help men step away from the noise of everyday life, reconnect with what matters most, and return home with greater clarity, energy, and direction.
Andrew lives in Bellingham, Washington with his wife, Kelly, and their son, Aemon.
